Not only do we have branded shuttles and cars to get our members around to group activities, but we’re proud members of ModivCare, meaning qualified trips are free of charge for Medicaid clients. Do I have to be a member at Elite Home Care for transportation?

Yes, you must be a client at Elite Home Care, however, you can receive transportation services even if you see us as little as once a month.

How does senior transportation work?

Our day center members can enjoy shuttle transportation to group activities, errands and more for a small fee. Oftentimes this fee is waived if you pick our services as your preferred transportation through Medicare. Just call and ask how!

Do you only have a senior shuttle service?

No, we have the option to use our own cars, which are equipped with GPS systems so you can safely track a trip. This allows more discreet transportation options if your loved one would rather run errands or go to appointments in non-branded transportation.

What does senior transportation include?

Our transportation services aren’t limited to Elite Home Care’s activity schedule. You can book transportation for exams, appointments, grocery runs, social events or other errands.

Does Elite Home Care still have a transportation radius?

No! We used to provide transportation within 15 miles of our centers or your home, but we’ve loosened those guidelines. Unlike other transportation services, we do not have rigid restrictions on where we can & can't pick you up.

What is ModivCare?

ModivCare is a patient transportation system that allows remote monitoring, delivery and transportation methods to in-home care or day center patients. If you’re in need of senior transportation and use Medicare, please put ModivCare as your preferred vendor for transportation and we can (likely) waive the cost.

What is senior in-home care transportation?

In-home care transportation is a service we offer for our patients who prefer personal or companion care services at their own home. We drive our own cars, or the client/patient’s car if preferred, and monitor our trips with the ModivCare GPS system. This allows us to visit a senior at their home and still offer trips to appointments or the store as needed.
