Elite Home Care Caregivers
Carefully selected from only the best of the resumes we receive. These men and woman represent the core of what Elite offers. Although they have families of their own, they have hearts big enough to treat our clients just like their own Mom or Dad. We require our staff to have random drug screening, SC SLED background checks, Specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia training, CPR certification as well as 8 specialty courses to keep skills up to date. While each and every caregiver must meet these requirements, we also encourage families to help us match the best caregiver for your loved one based on their specific personality.

Leslee M. Goodwin | Director of Scheduling
Leslee has been married for 5 years now, and is a mother to one amazing little girl, with another on the way. She has been employed with Elite Home Care since August of 2016. While working as a CNA in home care from 2009 to 2011, an opportunity to step into an office role presented itself to her. Recognizing the opportunity to assist in a role enabling her to help both clients and fellow caregivers, she gained experience in many roles. With over 5 years of home care office experience, she brings her knowledge of the need for consistency and reliability to our scheduling department. In addition, she has also served on the Spartanburg Walk to End Alzheimer’s committee for several years, and is the 2017 Chair for the Spartanburg Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She also currently serves as the Chair for our local monthly Upstate Senior Network luncheons, a wonderful group that gathers monthly to discuss how we can band together and assist local seniors in need. Caring for the elderly has always been a passion of hers and she is honored to bring her experience and dedication to such a compassionate and sincere company. And she would like to thank God for all the opportunities he has placed in her path to allow her to assist those in need, whether it’s just a smile in passing to one who was in need of a smile or to providing more hands on care that she has been privileged enough to provide.
Tracey L. Long | Community/Staff Liaison
Tracey Long started with Elite Home Care in March 2017. She was a former driver’s education instructor for 10 years teaching many teenagers in our area how to drive. She has a passion for helping others and teaching, for this reason she has joined a newly designed position to improve staff training and quality. She has always wanted to go back to school to become a nurse, but the timing was never right for her family so she decided to become the “next best” thing and went to school for CNA. After completing her course, she started working at Lake Emory Acute Care where she could learn to master the art of her passion, caring for others. Moving on from Lake Emory was very tough, but she decided to follow one of her families to private sitting and learned that she had so much more freedom to care for those she fell in love with. After the passing of her private clients, Tracey found herself wanting to do more in her community to help those in need. A previous coworker let Tracey know that Elite was hiring and so the relationship was born. Tracey started at Elite as an on call caregiver going out and helping families and management soon realized she had much more potential and that there was a missing link in training that she would be a great fit for. Tracey loves working at Elite to get to help the caregivers excel as well as develop quality for the clients. Tracey states, “I love working here, it is a great company and I hope to continue working here for many more years”.
Bonnie A. Ruiz | Lead Scheduler
Bonnie has been with Elite Home Care in the scheduling department since November of 2016. It has been quite the transition for Bonnie as she comes from the world of retail. When she started at Elite Home Care she had not yet realized her passion for helping seniors. Since becoming a member of the team at Elite she has found her niche for matching caregivers and their skill level to our clients. Bonnie does everything from scheduling to actually going out and assisting with hands on care as needed and everything in between. Working with Elite Home Care she has learned how Alzheimer’s, COPD, Parkinson’s, and other ailment’s greatly affect seniors in our area. Never before would she have guessed what a need there is right here in our home town for the type of services we have been blessed enough to be able to provide. She feels it is a true honor to serve our community, our elderly, and our care providers.
Em Enn | Scheduler
Em has recently taken a new position at Elite Home Care as we have expanded our team of schedulers to better serve our client’s needs. Em is here every weekend and can handle all of your scheduling needs. By expanding our team of schedulers someone is available to assist you 7 days a week. Em not only plays a major role in our scheduling department, but she often goes out in the community to provide hands on assistance. She enjoys being able to provide hands on care to those that she talks to and feels that this helps her better assist our client’s in their scheduling needs. Em first found her passion for assisting others in a Skilled Facility when she volunteered back in high school. Since being employed at Elite Home Care Em has rediscovered her true passion for assisting and interacting with the elderly. She looks back on her volunteering experience and remembers it to be one of the best experiences that was placed upon her path in life. Em states that the elderly have the most interesting and sweetest stories to tell. For all these reasons, Em has found that she hopes to enjoy many more years at Elite Home Care, feeding her true passions.

Isabella C. Spencer | Scheduler
Isabella was born and raised in Union, SC, and is the youngest of our office staff. She started with Elite in April of 2016 as a caregiver. She had never done caregiving before and absolutely fell in love with her clients more and more. After their passing, she had an opportunity to join the scheduling department. She did not hesitate as she was very heartbroken and hesitant to pick up another regular client so soon. She has just recently graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College with an Associates in Science and in Arts. She enjoys helping others and that’s why she is a perfect fit here at Elite. Isabella comes from a family of health care providers including her Mom, Grandmother, and sister, Victoria, who are all nurses. In August she will continue on at the University of South Carolina, Upstate, to help achieve her goal of becoming a Nurse.
Andrew Martin RN BSN | Co-Founder
A happily married husband and father, Andrew’s career started as an ER nurse and went on to include a stint as a clinical coordinator and Nursing Administrative Supervisor of Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. It was during his time at the hospital that Andrew observed too many patients that could have avoided a stay in the hospital if they had more care at home. Familiar with Home Health and Hospice, he knew those programs provided a great service and knowledgeable staff but were limited to very short occasional home visits. Elite Home Care was born to fill in the gaps when neither family, Home Health nor Hospice could be there. Andrew likes to think of our staff “Like your surrogate family with medical training” and will be by your side as long as you need and want us there. Andrew has dedicated his education and career to the safety and well-being of others and through Elite Home Care that vision will continue.
